When The Scott's Company purchased Ortho, they inherited a brand with three generations of retail packaging.
LMS Design was hired to develop a new retail identity that moved the brand forward. The task was to bring order and consistency to the line while strengthening the Ortho brand presence. This was accomplished by creating a design system that leveraged the current heritage and equity elements with a more uniform layout approach, while creating a look with a new logical and unmistakable hierarchy of information. This new design helped to simplify consumer purchase decisions at point of sale.
